My skin changes throughout the seasons. However, I use basically the same foundations throughout the year. But one thing I keep on changing in my makeup application is my primer. I switch between the my normal primer and a matte one. When I am home during winter, I tend to go more towards a primer for normal skin and a matte primer on my T-zone. So without further ado, lets get into the primers on my counter.
So first up are my primers for the eye makeup. The first one I am going to talk about is my Hard Candy 1000 Lashes Primer. I absolutely love using this. It does come out a bit white when it coats the eyelashes. However, once I put on my mascara, my eyelashes come out looking longer and well-defined than if I just put on the mascara itself.
Next up is the classic Urban Decay Eye Primer Potion. I actually got this last year, when I decided I wanted to start wearing eye shadows more often. This helps with the product staying on for bit longer and helps in the color actually showing. although I do have to put a white eye shadow to help if I want the shade to really show. However, once this primer is done, I would like to try another eye primer.
The Benefit POREfessional Primer. I decided to get the mini over the summer since I was worried about my pores and oiliness during the season. I tried to use use it all over the face, but I wasn’t really feeling my makeup after I was done. So now I mainly use it only in my T-zone area. And that helps, since most of my shine happens in that area (Combo skin problems).
The No7 primer is my to-go-to product! I absolutely love this product, I tend to go towards this without even thinking about it. I tend to use this with the Benefit primer more on the outside of my face and just rub it towards the area of the Benefit primer. This combo is my to go to combo whenever I am doing my everyday makeup. And after doing all my makeup, my skin is smooth to the touch. At the same time, the finish of my foundation is on point. Everything just looks so put together.
Well that’s all the primers I have. Thanks for stopping by and seeing my current primers on rotation! If you want, you can share the primers that you love to use! I hope you enjoyed the post.
